In June 2026, the City Council adopted the Strategic Plan reflecting the priorities identified through community engagement with residents, businesses, community organizations, elected officials and City staff. The plan provides a shared direction for the City and establishes a framework for guiding decisions, investments, and services.
The Strategic Plan is organized around six focus areas: Economic Vitality, Financial Stability, Public Safety, Engaged and Thriving Community, Natural and Built Environment, and Organizational Excellence. Together, these focus areas guide the City’s work, help align resources with community priorities and support measurable progress toward the community’s vision for the future.
