Navy Warship Tours – Bremerton
Wednesday, May 7, 8am-4pm, $15. Take an in-depth tour of a destroyer, from the Boiler room to the Bridge, are open for your inspection. A must see is the All-Veteran Memorial commemorating the Vietnam POWs. Cost includes admission, transportation and escort. Lunch on your own.
Cirque Du Soleil, Corteo- Seattle Thursday, May 15, 2-7pm,.$65. We head to Marymoor Park to see this Italian theme world re-nowned Cirque Du Soleil. Described as a “ joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown”, if you have not seen a Cirque, it is a once in a lifetime entertainment experience! Cirque shows celebrate the power of acting with the grace and power of acrobatics. Cost includes ticket, transportation and escort. Meal on your own at the show.
Northwest Driftwood Artists Show- Bothell Tuesday, May 16, 9:30am-3pm, $10. Our second trip to see these amazing driftwood sculptures at Country Village in Bothell. Cost includes transportation, and escort. Lunch on your own at Country Village.
Boat Trip - Gig Harbor Tuesday, May 20, 17, 8:30am-4:30pm, $43- Enjoy a full day boat cruising to Gig Harbor’s historic downtown for shopping and lunch. We will cruise on the lovely 60’long My Girl the Boat. Cost includes boat trip and escort. Lunch on your own.
Museum of Flight- Style in the Aisle Exhibit- Seattle Thursday, May 22, 9am-3pm, $20. For the first time, an exhibit from the Flight Museum’s extensive flight attendant uniform collection. See how flight uniforms have evolved from the early days of aviation to the sassy 60’s and 70’s and on to the professional look of today. Cost includes transportation, admission and escort. Lunch on your own at the Museum of Flight.
Powell’s Gardens – Federal Way Tuesday, June 10, 1:30-5pm, $30. Arrive for tea and scones followed by a garden tour. Cost includes are garden admission, tea, tour and escort. Must have 12 to attend.
Sunset Boat Cruise- Des Moines Tuesday, June 17, 6-9pm, $40. Depart the Des Moines marina for a 3 hour sunset cruise. We will cruise towards Alki Beach in Seattle and the north end of Vashon island. Boat is MyGirl. Cost includes boat trip and escort. Bring a sack dinner with you. Complimentary coffee and water on board.

Tall Ships Parade of Sail- Tacoma Thursday, July 3, 1:15-4:45pm, $40 per person (group of 15 or more and families of 4 or more $36pp). Take a special 3 hours cruise aboard the Argosy Cruise Ship Celebrations to see the Tall Ships in full sail as they parade from Quartermaster Harbor to the Tacoma waterfront. Box lunches ($12) and beverages will be available for purchase. Lunches must be ordered in advance. THIS TRIP IS FOR ABLE BODIED PASSENGERS…..DUE TO A VERY LOW TIDE, BOARDING AT 1:15PM WILL BE EXTREMELY STEEP. Tides will be “normal” for disembarking at 4:45pm.
Cougar Mountain Zoo – Issaquah Wednesday, July 9, 9am-4pm, $15. Cougar Mountain Zoo, (to no ones surprise) holds a cougar. In addition there are Bengal Tigers, Siberian Reindeer, Swamp Wallabies, and Madagascar Lemurs among other animals. Cost includes admission, transportation and escort with lunch on your own.
Illuminating the World: The St. Johns Bible – Tacoma Art Museum Wednesday, July 16, 9am-3pm, $15. The display’s centerpiece display is the only handwritten and illuminated Bible commissioned since the advent of the printing press. Cost includes transportation, admission and escort. Boat Trip around Lake Union-Seattle Tuesday, July 22, 9:30am-4pm, $43. Enjoy a scenic tour of Lake Union in downtown Seattle and a ride through the Ballard Locks on My Girl the Boat. Tacoma Rainier’s Baseball – Tacoma Wednesday, August 6, 10am-3pm, $28. The Alabama team will be in town. Join other South King County senior centers to see the boys that are trying to make it to the Mariners. Cost includes transportation, escort, picnic buffet lunch and reserved seats in the shade.
