SENIOR SPORTS PROGRAM
Des Moines Activity Center supports senior coed volleyball and softball for active citizens fifty-five and older. Please contact the Activity Center or check in our monthly newsletter for details on practices, seasons, game schedules, and sponsorship opportunities.
CO-ED VOLLEYBALL
Bump, set, get it over the net. Join us on Mondays and Wednesday for open gym volleyball at the Des Moines Field House from 1-3pm. Drop in cost is $2.00. No skill required just a desire to have fun.
CO-ED SOFTBALL
League play begins on Tuesday May 8th. All home games will be played at SJUMP at 10am. Come out a support our teams!
GOLF OUTINGS
Golf outings depart between 8:15-9am from the Activity Center. The exact time of departure and the course green fee will be published in the bi-monthly activity center newsletter. Return time varies. Transportation fee is $7. Golfers must register in advance, whether they are riding in the van or meeting at the course. Deadline to register is 12noon on the Friday before the outing. We play 9 holes. Lunch is on your own at the course or at a nearby restaurant. All players draw numbers to determine playing partners and tee position.
