Safety Seat Inspections

During a safety seat inspection the installation of the seat and the proper fit for the size of the child utilizing the seat are all checked. The seat itself is also checked for possible recalls. If there are any problems that are uncorrectable or a recall has been placed on the seat, the seat will need to be replaced. The most common errors found during an inspection are improper installation of the car seat, loose-fitting harnesses and improper seat usage for the child’s size.

Child Safety Seat Inspections are available throughout the year at various locations.  All inspections are free.  Please bring your vehicle manual and car seat manual with you.
