Summer Day Camps

REGISTRATION AND IMPORTANT INFO ---CAMP KHAOS & K2

Staff:  The Camp KHAOS and K2 staff consists of trained recreation leaders with a variety of skills and interests who have dedicated themselves to making your child’s experience a memorable one.  NOTE:  PARENT VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME—PLEASE SHARE YOUR TALENTS!

Lunch:  Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.  Campers MUST bring a lunch and plenty of H20!

Registration:  Registration can be made in person at the Des Moines Field House, phone, fax or mail.  Cash, check, and Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted.   Checks should be made payable to the City of Des Moines.  Registration is not finalized until registration, medical and emergency information forms are completed and full payment is submitted.

Scholarships:  Scholarships are available to those in need.  Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at:  (206) 870-6527 for an application.  Scholarships have been made possible through the support of the Des Moines Rotary.

Arrrg… ready ye self for some fun, madie. An ocean of fun is headed your way this week as we navigate to the Aquariaum.

Week #4                               7/20-7/24              Cirque’de KHAOS                              Field Day/ Rock Climbing

Break out the big top, elephants and clowns!  Its time to show off your skills, tricks and juggling technique!

Week #5                               7/27-7/31              KHAOS Idol                                         Movies/ Improv

Let your talents rise to the top this week as we show off our amazing campers abilites! Who will be your next Camp KHAOS IDOL?

Put a spring in your step as we lift off at the Bouncy House and jump our way through the week.

Week #7                               8/10-8/14              Where the Wild Things Are             NW Trek/ Dash Point       

Unleash your inner animal and be ready for a wild time this week at KHAOS. We will see the Wild animals as we head to NW Trek on an adventure.

Are you ready to go back in time?  This week will be a blast from the past!  Get out your time travel goggles, theres no telling where we might end up!

We’re going to splish and splash our way through the week and enjoy our annual BBQ at Gene Coulon Park!
