Special Event Request
NOTIFICATION OF SPECIAL EVENT
This type of event may involve disruption of pedestrian and vehicular traffic or access to private property for period no longer than 72 hours for nonprofit purposes, which do not involve the significant physical disturbance of the right-of-way. These events may include assemblies, block parties, street run/walks, private party with outdoor entertainment. The request form will be reviewed by the appropriate departments and certain conditions may be applied.
Please print and complete the “Notification of Special Event” form and return to the City Clerk’s Office by mail, fax, or in person. Please submit the form at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

SPECIAL EVENT - USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY This type of event will involve use of City owned property i.e. park, or City facility. NOTE: Normally this may require a rental agreement. Please check with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department for fees and information at 206-870-6527.
Please print and complete the “Special Event Permit” form and the Special Event Insurance Application. Please mail, fax or return in person. Submit the application form at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to the event for proper processing.
