CITY MANAGER
Tony Piasecki was appointed City Manager of Des Moines in May of 2002, after serving as the City’s Assistant City Manager since 1996. Tony came to Des Moines from the City of Phoenix, Arizona, where he was Customer Service Administrator with the water department and Management Assistant in the city manager’s office. He has a masters degree in public affairs from the University of Texas.
