Residential and Business Alarm Users

As a required by Des Moines City ordinance, ALL residential and business burglary, hold up, and panic alarms must be registered with the Des Moines Police Department. Registration forms and a brochure can be obtained on the City of Des Moines web site at:
www.desmoineswa.gov
by clicking on the forms section, or calling the Des Moines Police Department at 206-878-3301.

The registration is required annually and the cost is $25 per year. Currently there is a penalty of $200 for failing to register your alarm. For additional information, please contact MPO Barry Sellers at 206-870-7616 or email bsellers@desmoineswa.gov.
