24th Ave Lane Closures
There will be lane closures on 24th Ave in mid-July due to paving which is expected to last four days. The road will be passable with traffic control personnel directing traffic. The road is currently being widened. For more information contact the City of Des Moines Public Works department at 206-870-6522.

Marine View Drive/Des Moines Memorial Drive Landslide Repair Work
During heavy rains Jan 2006 and Jan 2007, the City had major land sliding along the northerly hillside of the Des Moines Creek ravine at three locations. Some repair work was made along Des Moines Memorial Drive (DMMD) last Dec to prevent land sliding from worsening.
