Toxic Shellfish Danger

Paralytic shellfish poison (PSP) has been detected at unsafe levels in shellfish samples from multiple beaches in King County.    As a result the Washington State Department of Health has issued an all species recreational shellfish harvest closure from Alki Beach south to the Pierce County line including Vashon Island and Quartermaster Harbor.  Please post "All Species Closure" signs at beaches in these areas. A pdf of the sign that should be posted is attached.
